Let's face it. 99% of stop signs should be yield signs.

I agree, especially since I drive to work at 4:30 AM and there's hardly any cars out and I have to stop at like 20 stop signs to get to work.

I always watch "bad drivers of" videos on youtube, so I'm kind of a safe driving freak even though I like to speed a bit.

Never knew that they could take away your license!

I always stop at a stop sign. Learning to drive when you're older makes you super more aware of things. When I drove when I was younger, I didn't care as much and wasn't as nervous as I am now.

update: so i called secretary of state and they said since my license expires the 15th two days before the court i can just go renew it and get the over 21 license. i think this whole situation is stupid...the cop is dumb for not giving me a court date before the 15th.

Yeah um, do you not know your own state laws and regulations?

http://articles.chicagotribune.com/2...river-rethinks

Its common practice for cops to be doing what they did to you. Its not a new thing.

"Illinois is one of the few states where officers can -- and often do -- take a driver's license during routine traffic stops. But a group of state officials is trying to change that. In an era when a government-issued photo ID is often needed to board an airplane or make a credit-card purchase, the practice is antiquated, they said."

educate your self.
