I want to get my nose checked up, because the damn pores on my nose haven't closed for years...and it keeps getting clogged faster than I would think is normal...not to mention my nose sometimes looks like it was dipped in cooking oil.

IMO it seems like such a waste to take savings and try to fight off something crazy like cancer.

Also, do you suggest visiting a dermatologist for a nose checkup? Do they really help?

And oh yes, big up on the regular dental checkups. $200 every 6 months to make sure these pearly whites and gums stay healthy...one of the best investments I can think of......
Well my reference to a horse doctor was that if I had something that would kill me in a year or two, I'd probably off myself than to fight it at this point. Morbid, but true.

As for your nose, go see your regular doctor! You can go to a dermatologist but it will cost at least $100 more. If you need a mole, wart, or cyst removed or something then go to a specialist.

I have insurance through the school. It's expensive as $^%#&. I feel like I need to go to the hospital just for the sake of going so I can reap some of the benefits. It gives me free eye exams and a discount on frames. I haven't been charged for a single office visit but I only go to the one on campus.

It really isn't much, as we all aren't perfect...but my nose looks rugged sometimes up close...the damn pores just won't close no matter how good I wash them everyday...and as long as they stay open, more stuff just clogs it up all over again.

Anyway, thanks for info.

None at the moment. Not well poised to afford one, but looking to change that. And as far as the horse doctor reference is concerned...I agree.

I have insurance through my job ~ $34.00 every two weeks out of paycheck. The plan is good, copayments $25.00 and slightly more for specialist. I also took out dental. If I wasn't working I wouldn't have insurance at the moment.

My job used to offer medical coverage for part-time employees but because of the Obamacare they will discontinue it by the end of this year. They will only offer it for full-time employees. So as of right now, I dont have one. But I plan on having a talk with my Branch manager to make me a full time.

It sucks. I signed up for the obamacare BEFORE I found out we're not eligible. Now, they've just been giving me the run-around. They should just plainly tell me I'm not qualified instead of them giving me BS.
