Biden is well liked. The only blemish on his record is that he sometimes says dumb things and a little too friendly with the backrubs but then I'm sure female voters would rather have him than any Republican be president as well.

Chinese Cantonese, which I feel I'm fluent enough for conversational purposes, which is basically what they need after a friend visited an office and asked about it. The enrollment for reserves has ended this fiscal year, so I'm seriously considering it if the reserves open up next year again. My friend is contemplating enrolling for active duty. I'm leaning more towards the reserves since I get to be home most of the time near my family, since I'm pretty much the head of the household, gotta hold the fort at home while my dad's out of the country.

All in all, it's not a bad deal, instant USC after 9 weeks of basic training, and you can just pick a job that's not in the frontlines. As a reserve, you're part time, and only need to report for duty one weekend a month, and 2 weeks for the summer (normally), but you'll be a USC, and pretty much break the shackles that's been handed to us since forever. So yea, if worse comes to worse and thing's aren't looking by summer next year, that would be the route I'll take. For now, I'm gonna brush up on my native tongue to make sure I pass that part of the test.

I just read up on MANVI. Sounds like a good deal. I speak couple of the languages listed.. not sure if it is enough as I cannot write but can speak fluently.

Do you have to be in a decent physical shape? I have some medical issues which keeps me from working out too much which has contributed to my weight gain

The language requirement is only for oral fluency, so if you can speak it well and converse with it, you're good.

As far as the elections are going, I have a feeling Trump might start to slip in the polls if he continues to start smack with all the other candidates. You can only smack talk so much before that schtick gets old. In all honesty, if I HAD to pull for a Republican (since if the best we can do is Hillary, who is imploding her campaign, we might be screwed), I'd probably pull for Carson, since according to most recent interviews, he supports immigration reform and a path to legal status for us.

What about Dr. Ben Carson?

0% chance of getting the nomination. You have to remember that the center of the republican demographic are old racists.
