It will MUCH easier for them to target DACA and other states will have more support to just deny DACers the few benefits it gives out

Let's hope Obama passes legislation to legalize at least original DACA recipients before his presidency ends.

You mean the Supreme Court?

Would there be enough time to pass the Dream Act?

Guys, please relax.

Why do you start making assumptions about what would happen to the original DACA if the Supreme doesn’t rule in favor of eDaca and DAPA?

By the time the SCOTUS makes a decision on those programs, DACA will be celebrating its 4th anniversary. A majority of applicants will be applying for their third time. Many of them are taxpayers, business owners people who contributing to the economy but at the same time, they don’t receive as many benefits as a resident does. Do you think it’s that easy to say “ok, reverse those work permits and send them back to the shadows, or deport them? The government has their addresses, and they know where they work. Are they going to be knocking on doors to deport these all ready contributing people? How you thought of the political consequences of this? In an election year?

They stopped eDACA and DAPA before its implementation because they know it’s hard to stop a program after it has been implemented.

Please don’t come and tell me, DACA is not forever; I know it’s not forever. But the program would be only replace with a better option. I can bet all have on that.

Please stop panicking, and asking questions like “Should we be worried?” Go and make use of that work permit and get the job of your dreams and excel on it. Travel, enjoy it, millions of people would love to have at least those two years of security and liberty.

First they came for the Socialists, and I did not speak out—
Because I was not a Socialist.
Then they came for the Trade Unionists, and I did not speak out—
Because I was not a Trade Unionist.
Then they came for the Jews, and I did not speak out—
Because I was not a Jew.
Then they came for me—and there was no one left to speak for me.
