You paid 1k for that, why not ask your lawyer thus question?

It will probably take from 5-7 days...like regular mail?? ugh!! I'm so desperate to hear about my application, I check every day and I'm going nuts, my dad is sick and depressed I did put expedite on mine and it will be a month on the 20th that they received it, I just didn't show any extra proof to be expedite......I called USCIS and they are like...mmm well the processing time is 3 months! I almost got a heart attack, I know is three months but just hearing all this stories of people getting it in a little over a month gave me really high hopes..

I know how you feel, it'll be a month on the 20th for me too and honestly I'm not expecting anything until August now. Originally thought it would be 3-5 weeks but now I know most people expedite it.

Crossing fingers for our approvals!! I just really wanted to go see my dad before my kid went back to school august 8th and just the fact that I already asked for the days off at work from the 29th to the 4th of August, I just want to be able to go and come back before school starts...if not it might have to be for a shorter time my kid cant miss much school specially not in the beginning of the year ....ugh ugh anyways, crossing fingers you get your approval soon, and mine too

My sister still has not been approved. It's been 4 weeks that they received her packet. I will have to buy my ticket last minute in hopes that she will get approved and we can fly together. I really didn't want to make the trip without her.

I'm just worried because i put day to travel a week ago and...i hope when they send me the paper they don't put the days i asked for :/

My lawyer warned me about putting early dates since it's a 3 month process so she put my date to travel starting September 20th. I hope you get your approval soon.

I hope they use common sense and not approve me for days that have already passed...that wouldn't make any sense anyways...would it? it would be 360 dlls in the trash

My sister called Friday and explained that my grandma's health has not improved and that she keeps asking for us. They told her that they would expedite her case and that she would have an answer by this week. Crossing my fingers she gets an answer ASAP. My ticket is already going to cost me $100 more as of now but I really didn't want to make this trip without her.
