Ultimately, think ahead, this will probably come up when you are trying to get legal status in the future.
Yes, that's what I figured. My supervisor is very much willing to rehire me. It's just frustrating knowing that I'll go without pay for a few weeks/months and then the entire rehire process will be another ordeal to deal with. Hard lesson learned: send any immigration related papers as early as possible.

Everyone here seems to have sent in their applications within the recommended time frame, this isn't about that, it's about USCIS not having their stuff together.

So question to anyone that's still around after their get their EADs and had to wait between getting approved and getting their cards: Does the EAD still follow the date on the i-821D approval or is it dated from the time it was produced? My manager just asked me this question today and I hadn't thought of this before.

HR told me I'll be put on unpaid leave. My project is going to take a hit without me. Fortunately I don't think I'll be laid off because we're understaffed but it's not gonna go well for my reputation.

It's as of DACA approval (this also assumes your DACA and I-765 were approved simultaneously)

Keep it between urself and HR and management. Your coworkers doesn't need to know and there doesn't need to be an official announcement.

Yes, I'm on my third week since receiving termination from my job. I try to keep active and work on projects to keep mind and body busy and active. I too worry about my finances especially since I live on my own and I pay rent and bills. I recent found out that I've been accepted to graduate school. This could not come at a worse time.

I am looking to work at any type of work to pay the bills. I'm grateful that I have a family friend who is willing to hire me to work at her shop. It is a cut in pay but I am grateful for anything right now since this thing could last months.
