For Texas Service Center almost everything is 2007 June or so...
Im currently in the regular line, and they received my case on August 2007 so Im guessing 2 months more of waiting at most?

The new visa bulletin for the month of April shows another substantial progress in Employment visa numbers, namely for the third preference category.

The priority date in the last bulletin, March 2008, showed a priority date of
01 January 2005. The current bulletin, April 2008, shows a priority date of 01 July 2005, a 6 month progression.

This is good news for all of us who are involved in some sort of legalization process involving employment visas in the third preference.

You can access the visa bulletin from the state department's website.

Rahman how were you able to find an employer willing to wait so long for the process to take place to fill the position? I'm in the third category because I only have a B.S. and some employers were willing until they found out about the long process.

Its not for me personally but for my uncle. When I say "us", I mean those DAP members who are involved in this process.

It's very frustrating place to be in to actually find an employer willing to help but then get turned off due to the wait. What kind of work does your uncle do?

What kind of parents tell their daughters to find a man who can support them? What is this the 1950s? Most parents expect their daughters to stand on their own and make sure they're successful before settling down so they aren't dependent on some guy for the rest of their life. Some people are so backwards.
