If you are scheduled to appear in court for a deportation case, do not sign anything, and do not agree to self deport.

Fight your case in court, and if you still lose, then appeal it...I believe this will give you years of a pending case, and you can then apply for a new EAD while the case is in limbo...and you never know, you may win the case.

It's only over once you exhaust all avenues of relief...there are people out there ready to fight for you.

I'm still going to contribute to. If anything happens we can withdraw our 401k then. I've already withdrawn one time in the past. It wasn't too much but I really needed money. All you have to do is make a phone call, they'll ask if you want a check mailed or directly deposited into your checking account. Super easy.

I did however, decrease my contribution towards stock purchase plan which my company offers ( I was contributing the max they allow). If I'm not mistaken its stock I can't even touch for at least 2 years anyway. So, with this uncertainty it doesn't make much sense for me to contribute towards something I can't even sell for at least a few years. Because I do rather save up that money now. I'll need it.
I don't know much about stocks.

Nope. But it is on his website and it's something his supporters will hold him to. He needs to prove he means business. He changed his view on ACA, which Trumpers hate. He at least has to kill one thing to keep them happy. What do you think that is gonna be?

I know you guys want him to switch but good luck. I hope so too but you can't ignore what he has promised to do

Yes, but it'll take them probably decades getting back...
Trump said they'd have to leave first and come back the legal way like everyone else.
I like how he also leaves out the fact that there's a 10-year unlawful presence bar from entry upon departure from the United States. And how difficult it is to get into the US in the first place.
Sure you can come back, it'll just take a while!

The unlawful presence bar is law actually. You are right that I'm assuming Trump won't make a special case for us since he seems all about law and order.
I hope to all you are right, but it's just unlikely he'll bend the law for us out of the kindness of his heart.
