I told you guys before. Just because ICE see our DACAs doesn't mean they're going to simply to released us. These agents are going to give us a lot of pain..even if released he has that in his record.

Does having that on your record affect you?

How so?

I am afraid Trump will come out now saying that DACA is repealed due to this incident. Honestly I feel ICE and Trump/Pro deportation hawks are doing this to pressure Trump into ending the program effectively.

By detaining DACAers they are pressuring the administration to come up with an official statement on DACA.

On the other hand, this could be good assuming that the administration takes a positive position on our side, outlining a specific directive to not go after DACAers and to not arrest.

If anything this will pressure to act and stop giving us vague answers

Or a simple mistake and he gets released. Happened in the obama years

Erika Andiola ‏@ErikaAndiola

@FedcourtJunkie @Reuters ? is if they are attempting to deport him. DACAs were also arrested under Obama sometimes but released if no record

Honestly,

This might could have been engineered by the Trump administration...

They want to shift focus away from the scandals surrounding Flynn Etc...

They are aware that negative press on other issues is equally as distracting. Stephen Miller and AG might be behind this.

They want someone to sue that has no chance of winning, that way they can declare a victory while at the same time avoiding Trump having to take a public position on the subject.

The outcome of this might be that, They cannot pursue targeted deportation of Dreamers, unless they are encountered by ICE by "accident".
