Right, having a final order makes AP risky to do because you would have been considered self deported when trying to come back. The best course of action would be to get married, reopen the final order (if possible) and get it closed. Would very much talk with an experienced lawyer that deals with final orders to get an idea of how the process will be.

It may even come down to getting a I-601A waiver if AP travel is impossible.

Next time read the damn article. This is what it says about DACA recipients with a final removal order. "Mr. Trump’s executive order could affect any unauthorized immigrant who is not protected by Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals, which the Obama administration put in place to give young people work permits and temporary relief from deportation. (Mr. Trump has not yet made clear whether he intends to keep that program.) " - NYT https://www.nytimes.com/2017/01/26/u...tion.html?_r=0
I read the article.

It says: "Anyone who has received a final order to leave the country, but has not left, is also considered a priority."

You don't know what "anyone" means, do you?

Anyone means ANYONE, even those with DACA.

Does anyone with final removal order has successfully renewed their DACA under new administration?

Please share your experience, Thanks so much !
How did you end up with a final removal order with no criminal history?

The second part establishes exceptions of those who will not be affected.

It could be decided either way. All we can do is wait and see.

I have a final removal order and just got my DACA renewed no problem. I check in with ICE regularly and im nervous about checking in this time but hopefully it will be OK. I have no criminal record. Hopefully yours goes smoothly as well.

Why do you have to check in with ICE regularly?

The hearing notice was never received and our attorney failed to notify us at that time . We have tried to appeal couple times , unfortunately all failed
