I don't know what is really going on, I thought that Bannon was like DACA enemy #1. I think news stories like this one are ultimately setting up the ground work for Trump either keeping DACA or offering something more permanent in exchange for enforcement money. Articles like these are basically preparing Trump's base to accept the fact that we will either be left alone, or helped out in exchange for some enforcement. If their base gets angry (which they will), the White House can say that the Trump administration, including Bannon apparently, has been pro DACA all along.

My man Bannon.

Fcck Sessions. Good luck at DOJ.

Fcck Stepthen "Baby-Goebbels" Miller. Good luck in life in general.

If indeed Bannon is on DACA side of Trump Team, we are on a truly immovable concrete ground DACA peeps.

Truth is DACA has a lot of support on both sides. The Dream Act also has had bipartisan support. The only reason it hasn't been able to pass is because Republicans want to fix this issue once and for all. They would like to pass CIR or Dream Act in a way that it doesn't encourage more illegal immigration to come in and have to deal with the same issue 10-20 years from now.

Sort of like what happened after the Reagan amnesty.

My exact thought before reading your comment. Deporting 11 million would sound less evil if you let the kids stay, plus you get a negotiation chip .

I am with you on this one. I am not quick to believe the article, but I am hoping it is true.

Ice just tweeted this today.

DACA is not a protected legal status, but active DACA recipients are typically a lower level of enforcement priority
