Neither side? It seems like it's the Dems who don't want to compromise.

Contact UWD and let the org know how you feel. This is so stupid and frustrating.

Both sides just stated their position ahead of the fight, Trump wants to have the RAISE act, the wall, and all the enforcement measures passed in exchange for protection for dreamers. Dems just stated no way they can have everything just for dreamer protection, that's just too little for Dems. If Dems say they will protect dreamers for anything in exchange this early in the game, they are basically lost, and in the end Dems will not get anything they want.
Sometimes in order to get something done, they will show the opposite on optics. Think of it as a strategy.

So a lot more to be seen in coming weeks.

The Republicans are gaining a lot more than Democrats with the compromise that's floating around, so it's a lot easier for them to come to the table. We'll see what happens soon, and I think a lot can change if DACA is ended.

Marriage is our only hope. Don't wait for a miracle.

It's a felony to marry for the sole purpose of obtaining residency.

Don't get married just for the sole purpose of obtaining residency, but get married for the union of two souls.

After that, residency will come with marriage.
