Lol, Guess what Cornyn? Your party controls all 3 branches of government. If a shut down happens, it’s going to be on your head . He is so damn cocky and arrogant! You can tell republicans are definitely scared though.
I don't believe this. Everyone's own supporter will just blame the other side.

I've seen this issue fail again and again. I just don't see the Dems shutting down the government for DREAMers. I can already see the media spinning this as "Dems preferring illegals over Americans blah blah blah"

I'm ready to be gutted

No way. Maybe Fox News and WaPo but that’s it lol

Anyways, all they have to do is withhold their votes in support of DACA, CHIP, and CSR payments... very popular programs

some DREAMers here are so self-centered that they believe that shutting the government is all about them? lmaoooo

there are other unresolved issues such as the CHIP, CSR payments, TPS etc.

DACA isnt the only thing trying to be resolved yo.

Exactly. And they act like there isn’t wide support amongst the general public for this. You think the democrats would even allude to a govt shutdown if it didn’t poll well? The same way conservative organizations and the right pull the republicans not to compromise, is the same way the left will pull the Dems to shut it down!!!

If they go back on their words, there will be more events like the ones CIYJA pulled!! Enough si enough!

It was a bad decision by Schumer and Pelosi (again) to leave Dream Act out of the September cont resolution.

I won't yet say deliberate bad decision. That is going to come out eventually.

the decision to end DACA on Sept 5th was still so fresh and immediate that they couldnt muster enough support at that time. they needed the issue to gain public support and let it marinate for 3 mos.

that's why they Pelosi-Schumer chose a 3 month extension instead of an 18 month extension which Ryan and McConnell wanted.

they got Trump where they want them in December.

This country is too divided, so many of the voters will just stick with their own party.

You want to bet $100? Game on.

The GOP is divided amongst the establishment and the Bannon wing. You think they aren’t ready to throw them all out? The govt shutdown is what Dems want to fuel this inter party war amongst republicans.
