I am in the same situation as you expect my work permit already expired. I’m in the proses of emailing my congressman!

That is a long time. I'm hoping I can hear something by the end of the month. My thing hasn't even been updated.

Look up their contact information through their website - they often have a section for help with federal agency/immigration. You will need to give your info/explain the situation - some you can fill out a form online, others you need to call to speak with someone who deals with immigration matters. You'll also have to sign a privacy release form. Once they have the info they need, they will contact USCIS on your behalf to see if there's updates on your application. There's no guarantee it will speed up the process, but it does flag your application to be looked at and there's no harm in it.

If anyone has been waiting for over 105 days, check out some tips on this website. I tried several things on here and most were a dead end. I only heard back from my congresswoman (someone who worked for her) and received an email back from: [email protected]
