Honestly, it feels like I am in an episode of Black Mirror.

Same here. But feeling a little impatient waiting till Feb 8th for the shutdown outcome.

I went for a hike today with friends, didn't check the internet of the day... that helped. and tweet, tweet any and all of them. I think it helped me thinking i'm talking to them (i know i'm not), hoping it helps.

This constant foruming, tweeting, echochamber thing is very unhealthy

Yet this shit is addictive as fuck.

We are NOT getting GC right away. Best case scenario would be after a 5 YEAR WAIT.

I am not even waiting for a GC. I just want a bill to pass Congress and be signed off by Trump. At least then I know what situation I'm in, right now there are too many things are up in the air. Not only for us but also possibly our parents.

I am not that flexible. And my ass is doesn't stretch that much. I haven't tried but pretty sure it won't accomodate anything large as my head.

I think it good to think positive but it can be very frustrating at time especially since dv lottery winners can come here and get the green card immediately. I'm personally only going to stay in this country if a reasonable bill is passed that leads to permanent legalization which is either green card or citizenship. When i say reasonable, I mean a bill that does not require me to give up all my rights , hopefully something can be done this year or else I will start to look for another country to live.

I'm doing pretty good, honestly I felt so much worse when Trump got elected last year.

All my friends know about my status and have been supportive so that helps me a lot.
