You all have to understand the government can't just be shut down , any bill passed in the senate still has to go through the house . This shut down achieved nothing

Plain and simple we felt for Schumer’s master plan. He can now say he closed the government to “protect” us but not really. His plan was to fake it out and run!

  • $450,000 a day in lost revenue at National Parks
  • $2.4 billion in lost travel spending

Exactly. Not sure if it was a good idea to have had it then. It only exposed how stubborn the WH is towards a real deal.

Yes, they need to feel the pain of a shutdown before there will be concessions. Now we are back to square 1. Dem's have gained nothing from a 3 day shutdown.
