It wasn't permanent DACA. Many would have agreed to that. It was a three year extension, not even a significant length of time, so they can shove it.

IMO sometime in May, but that's only if the 9th circuit ends DACA.

Dems wet dream would be if somehow DACA ended a week before the elections in November, they would blame trump and the Reps and would argue that they went as far as shutting the government down over DACA.

This was not just about extending Daca; it was expanding it to protect all childhood arrivals until the next presidency.

Even if Dems gain seats in Congress, Trump is likely to prevail in court. So Daca as DHS memo dies soon and there is no law to grant you relief? And if they win Congress, Trump will still be president. So, what next? There is no time to waste. Pelosi et al start a two week Easter recess tomorrow.

it has all failed because they're trying to get broad stuff done instead of the original piece meal thing that was planned.
what ever happened to PR for daca people in exchange for full wall funding, and then we'd deal with the broader population?

nothing is gonna happen because its an election year.. y'all need to remember their primary goal is to get elected , or at the very least the money they get when they run.

October when they have to pass the next spending bill, which by coincidence is very close to elections. Watch Dems support DACA again then lmao

Sounds like it's going to be quiet here for the next 6 months. At least we have summer coming up.
