Of course we know that. Only the most delusional people here think that a clean DREAM Act can pass. We know this. The only way forward from the beginning was tying it to the wall.

I am not sure what you're talking about. I am about to send in my renewal this week. DACA is alive and Dreamers are safer than ever under Trump at the moment. Everything else is bullshit. I stand corrected that under Trump, Dreamers are #HERETOSTAY, a prediction I and the ever growing Dreamers For Trump coalition had made about two years ago.

They offered to do so? Reps' counter-offer was a 3-year DACA extension and no citizenship.

The ONLY reason you can continue to renew is because of the court's injunction. It has absolutely nothing to do with Trump. Undocumented immigrants including DACA holders are a lot less safe because WH changed the DHS priorities to include everyone.
