You guys could leave under advance parole, you know? or Voluntary Departure. That way you won't get the ban.
And yeah, I was thinking about the same thing, since my stepdad is a Canadian Citizen, but the problem is that you can't move to Canada without having someone sponsor you there, or apply for status there from America unless you have status in America. That means you'd have to go to your own home country to apply for a visa there, and that could incure a bar if you don't leave properly. Also, Canda IS become more stringent with it's immigration policy. Sucks.
