He will face intimidate lawsuits asking him to define the emergency and justify that designation. That would temporarily suspend his powers.

Given that it's Trump, though, anything can happen.

There is no emergency. There is no data to back that up.

Well technically even if he gets stopped by court order, he would use that as an excuse to end the shutdown. Lets remember it is his own doing so he needs to get out of it somehow and still declare victory cause we know he is a narcissist

Exactly, he doesn't care if it works or not, he's just trying to get out of this mess.

Naturally I went straight to the comments section. So many comments saying the writer needs to go back and people claiming he’s stealing money cause he went to a good university.

My favorite comments were from the ones that said we could stay but we should never be given the right to vote or become citizens. History always shows white people do what they can to keep other minorities down.

They are probably sour they don't have a degree and work at WalMart.

Are you saying that if he takes that route, he would say he tried and then sign a bill that funds the government with no wall funding?

I just want to live in the united states permanently without fear of getting sent to some rapidly rising nation I don't know.

Voting? I don't vote in Mexican elections.

They should make a new status for us DACA folks if they are truly worried about us voting left. Perma-GreenCard.

I am willing to compromise donzo the clown, meet me under the sink to discuss details and hash out a plan out of this conundrum. Because believe me, I make the best deals.
