Australia is a good consideration. It's not only about points, but certification of skills and takes quite a bit of money when going through their system.

Check this out:

https://theterritory.com.au/migrate/...ominated-visas

Quote:
Do you have a skilled occupation that is in demand in Australia's Northern Territory (NT) and you would like to migrate?

If so the NT Government may be interested in nominating you to support your visa application under one of the nominated general skilled migration visa subclasses.

Eligibility

To migrate to Australia's Northern Territory (NT) under an NT Government nomination you must:

- meet the Australian Government requirements to be granted the visa
- be nominated by the NT Government
- be able to meet all other Australian Government visa requirements for permanent residence including age, health and character if applicable - this includes you and any dependents included on your visa application.
No talks about money.
ah shit , am confused
Quote:
If you are applying from outside Australia

You must also provide:

- verifiable evidence of full-time employment in your nominated occupation for at least 12 months out of the last 24 months or evidence that you have Australian qualifications
- evidence that you have done detailed research into living and working in the NT to show that you have a realistic knowledge of the NT including climate, relocation costs and living expenses - parts of websites copied and pasted into your submission are not accepted.

If you are not an NT resident or NT graduate

You must also provide:

evidence of your financial capacity to settle in the NT including net assets
information about any support networks you have in the NT, as these may be considered.

The table below gives you detail on the assets you need and the summary you have to provide.
Family composition Minimum value of net assets
Individual applicant AU$35 000
Applicant and spouse AU$50 000
Applicant and spouse plus one child AU$60 000
Applicant and spouse plus two children AU$65 000

Here's an article on funds needed for Australian immigration:

Quote:
There are two types of skilled visas to move to Australia permanently – 189 Visa and 190 Visa. The former requires no proof of finances, while the latter may require a financial declaration, depending on the state. This may be just a declaration or a formal statement with proof of assets showing that you’re financially capable of supporting yourself and your family during the move. This used to be a major factor when you wanted to emigrate to Australia, but less so these days.
