1. You entered the marriage in good faith, it didn't work out, and you divorced.
2. You entered the marriage in good faith, but suffered abuse during it (VAWA filing).
3. Your removal from US would cause you extreme hardship.
as much as people say to hang in there till November to file it jointly, I think I'll go ahead with option #2, I don't think I can do this anymore.

wow, I dated a man who had kids, and had a lot of baby momma drama!

not saying all single parents carry burden and baggage, but my standard is not to date men with kids from previous relationships.

relationship should be about fostering love and trust, and of course kinky sex lol

I'm sorry to hear you're in such a tough situation. To me, it sounds like you're just suffering at this point. There's no piece of paper/card worth your sanity, peace and safety. I wish you all the best!

Last week, I was approved through VAWA. Thank God. If I had to go through what I went through, I seriously wouldn’t have wish that on anyone.

Yeah I'm waiting on fucking immigration court to terminate my proceedings so I can just file my VAWA I-485 with USCIS.

The whole system is ridiculously stupid.

In other news, if they did approve your VAWA I-751 then you're eligible to naturalize after 3 years. On N-400 check the other box and write in "LPR for 3 years, granted VAWA ROC, INA 216(c)(4)(C), INA 319(a)". Include copy of your I-751 approval notice since you won't have a special category code on your green card.

Hang in there Denise, I truly feel exactly what you are going through.
But I must admit that you’ve helped a lot of us in here. Not sure whether you know this or not, but you gave me hope and provided a lot of assistance filing most of my papers. Even this VAWA case, I did it because of your help. Thanks a lot and God bless you!

Agreed. Demise has helped a lot of people. Helped me during my consular process.
