You are right... it would be weaker... They are separating the Work Permit into it's own thing so that it can be easily revoked in the future....

According this Tweet:

"Translating the previous tweet into non-legal terms, DHS is basically recognizing that the work permit portion of DACA could potentially be struck down, and saying that they think if that happens they may still be able to protect people with DACA from being arrested and deported."

without the ability to work and provide a living, what good is daca? What happened to the 3-5 year work permits we heard about back in Feb/March ?

If you were to do a simple GOOGLE search on DACA, the MSM is making it seen like if the Biden administration is going all out to protect us.

This move does absolutely nothing and it just goes on to show that Biden and his administration are not serious about fixing the overall issue.

They want to keep us on DACA without a work permit so it saves us from deportation and they don’t get a bad image because they know damn well Dreamers getting deported in a midterm year won’t look good for them.

No wonder they are struggling with the Latino vote even in a deep Blue state in California. Because Latinos are finally waking up and seeing the empty promises Democrats bring to the table.

For us nothing. For the Democratic Party is all about saving face and saying…

hey we’re trying, but the courts are tying are hands down, therefore we need more of your votes and money so we can “help you”……

If this is real, this is a rather disappointing action from Sleepy Joe, more so an embarrassment.

Had a lot of hope that something permanent would happen but man... US politics. Dems holding three branches yet couldn't just put DA to a vote, if it fails, then so be it but atleast give us a proper headcount.

So disappointing. But atleast I guess he isn't actively trying to deport DACA recipients yet.
