With your Ukrainian passport you could go anywhere in the EU (and a bunch of non-EU European countries as well). I think Canada would let you stay if you got in also. You basically can claim war refugee status.

Ukrainian citizens are currently allowed to stay in EU countries under the "Temporary Protection Directive," which allows them to live and work freely within the EU, accessing social services like housing and healthcare, and essentially giving them the right to reside in any EU country they choose; however, this status is temporary and requires registration within an EU member state to access these benefits.

Key points about Ukrainians in the EU:
Visa-free entry:
Ukrainians with a biometric passport can enter the EU without a visa for up to 90 days within a 180-day period.

Temporary Protection Directive:
This directive grants Ukrainians the right to live, work, and access social services in any EU country.

Freedom of movement:
Once registered in an EU country, Ukrainians can move freely within the EU.

Registration required:
To access temporary protection benefits, Ukrainians need to register in an EU country.

Excellent post.

So there you have it.
The O.G poster has more options than most of the DREAMERS.

Yep, if all goes to hell in the US the OP’s pasty Ukrainian ass can be getting sunburned on a beach in Spain, Portugal, Malta, Sicily, Crete, Cyprus while drinking a Mai Tai and enjoying healthcare coverage, social services like housing and everything else Europe is ready to offer… while being completely legal! Not a bad plan B in my opinion.

US is not the end all. Probably will be a bigger shithole after 4 years of Trump. The world is vast and other countries are developing to be far more advanced.

You should've been working this entire time to secure a livelihood for yourself regardless of what happens in this country. It is not the only country in the world and it certainly doesn't have the best quality of life in the world. This falls under the maximize your opportunity goalset.

Get educated, trades, college, etc in whatever will make sure you have a good stable life. I'm not talking riches. Fuck riches. People glorify riches but no, you just earn yourself more problems.

As Notorious B.I.G. said: "Mo Money Mo Problems".

With these investments in yourself you will find that you no longer need to worry about Trump, Republicans, ICE, Deportations. Its like so what? If I were to be kicked out, so what, I will just go to another country. I have options and I am willing to use them.

Even if I were to lose all my financial assets, their assets aren't what brings me stability and prosperity. Its my skills and talents.

The world is open, let them ruin their country. Oh well. Shikata ga nai (仕方がない) "it can't be helped" or "there's no choice". It's a cultural concept that conveys a philosophy of acceptance and letting go. I strongly recommend to stop worrying about what you can't change. Simply let that go. It is what it is.

But with all that said, I am not going anywhere for the time being. Not until this is all wrapped up, concluded, and either we are settled, or removed. I consider it rude to leave before the end of the movie. Don't you want to know how it ends?

Gambling involves risks, this is the biggest gamble of all. At least stay at the table and see what it lands on.

That doesn't answer my question.
