You know, call me delusional. But I think whatever happens we will be okay. It may not be the okay you envision, but an okay you deserve.

Personally, there are a lot of aspects I don't like about the US and that i wish it would fix about itself. For example anti intellectualism, unschooling, the illiteracy problem where even ivy league students can't read full books. The distrust of medicine and vaccines because they've grown so accustomed to the status quo that they forgot how much childhood disease used to ravage the population. Dear lord they are going after the measles and polio vaccines that halted the disease to where they became forgotten!

But but it's the diseased illegals!! (LatAm doesn't have active measles outbreaks like the rich neighbor to the north)

The failure of federalism. It doesn't seem that letting DC control your life was such a good idea. The whole states rights what states rights? The power should be as close to the people as possible.
