I think that's the thing that everyone forgets. Everyone is so quick to think that EVERYTHING and ANYTHING is Bush's fault but, oh noes, it's just way too hard to sit and think about the OVERALL circumstances that drove a situation. I'm not taking away any blame from GWB but come on, he was pretty outspoken in his support of immigration reform and, at the time of the legislation (2006), he had already lost support within his own party and his approval ratings were getting down to the shitter. Why would anyone side with an unpopular president? We all know Congress only looks after their own reelections as opposed to the good of the nation.

And anyway, who the hell cares about GWB anymore? He has, what, 3 months left? Unless he starts WW3 (which he could very well do, I'm not saying it's not a possibility), I think everyone should just get over him until the Dems try to push some "war crimes" charges against him.

McCain and Obama? Fair game. GWB? So two months ago.
