Stop with the consuming concerns.
I understand that DA-leaning articles can get our hopes up for nothing at all.
But do realize that at the end of the day, the second that act hits his desk, his decision is out of our hands.

In the meantime, we can encourage him through rallies, through journalists who support our stance, and through prayer and/or positive thinking.
Still, we can only do so much while keeping our eyes on the prize.

I doubt it Obama will make dream act or any act goes anywhere close to immigration a priority. If history is any indication (Regan amnesty 1986, Clinton 245(i) extension 1999/20:confused, Bush CIR 2006/2007), he'll probably take on immigration issue if he wins second term.

You know you are right...why don't we just shut down this website and go back to our normal lives and wait for the dream act to pass in 2012? That's the kind of attitude that's going to help the dream act pass next year.

good point.

Hey people what are you all thinking? We need to push as much as possible. And, where there is no room to push more, just keep pushing until the very last day of hope (this coming year at least).

The Immigration issue is big this last couple of years, people everyone says we have broken borders, so it is definitely an option for this coming year that the immigration issue will be brought up.

We need to work together and get solid and organized as much as possible to make presence. After that, let the politicians worry about the rest. you just your part.
