I don't mean to sound like a big jerk, your video was nice... but you messed up the requirements a bit. Your gonna see many sites and blogs showing you the list of initial (basic) requirements; and each vary. ALWAYS look at the bill text itself, that's the "real" one that explains what Dream Act is (complicated).

Now back to your list:

1) the alien is between the ages of 12 and 30 years old immediately
preceding the date of enactment of this Act.

2) the alien has been physically present in
the United States for a continuous period of
not less than 5 years immediately preceding the
date of enactment of this Act, and had not yet
reached the age of 16 years at the time of initial entry.

3) the alien has been a person of good
moral character since the date of enactment of
this Act.
- (this is the part that people confuse the most)... Good Moral character
does NOT mean no criminal record. The term GMC is used to define certain
crimes of "moral turpitude" that you CANNOT have committed.

For example: you must not commit any crimes other than those
considered nun-drug related misdemeanors. Being convicted
of a major crime, or drug-related infraction would
subject you to deportation.

the alien— is not inadmissible under paragraph (2), paragraph (3), sub paragraph (B), (C), (E), (F), or (G) of paragraph (6), or subsection (C) of paragraph (10) of section 212(a) of the Immigration and Nationality Act.

the alien is not deportable under sub paragraph (E) or (G) of paragraph (1), paragraph (2), sub paragraph (B), (C), or (D) of paragraph (3), paragraph (4), or paragraph (6) of section 237(a) of the Immigration and Nationality Act

ALWAYS READ THE BILL TEXT ITSELF, IT IS A COMPLEX TEXT, BUT IT WILL HELP YOU ALLOT IN UNDERSTANDING THE DREAM ACT LEGISLATION.

take care

Don't be so hard on him/her. iDreamAct did a great job and it was just a summary of the bill. I doubt anyone would want to read every little detailed word about it posted on a youtube video. The requirements iDreamAct wrote are correct. He/she put down that the person needs to be present in the U.S. for 5 or more years, have come here before his/her 16th birthday and have good moral character. That's the "jist" of the bill. No one wants to read a bunch of legal mumbo jumbo.

Plus, he/she can add a link to the text on the side.

hey, no i didn't mean to be in any way mean on him... the reason i posted those complex things is so the ones against this bill would realize that its not an "amnesty", so they realize that's its by far an easy bill.

the bill also makes clear the issue with instate tuition and the "American taxpayer" "paying" for us to go to school... IF those people see that, then they have no reason to open their mouth about anything...

we want to educate people the right way, some are against this bill b/c they are fueled with wrong information about it, such as "its an amnesty", "they gonna sponsor their family members", "they will take our tax money" and so on...

i believe that certain people would have a change of heart about this; if they were more educated about it.

take care.

Great video, but slow it down a bit I agree . Or separate the text into more slides?
