If you're still up: Calif @AGBecerra tells me he thinks #DACA ruling today gives Dems less reason to do what he views as a bad deal w/Trump on Dreamers

For anyone who still thinks this is a good development.

How can anyone think that this is a good development is beyond me. You're fooling yourselves if you think this won't be used to take away the sense of urgency by Republicans and probably Democrats too. If this holds up, they're just going to use it to say they have more time to come up with a great solution that will benefit everyone and NOTHING WILL GET DONE.

We were days away from a permanent solution.

Obama implemented DACA with the hope to find legislation for dreamers, something that didn’t quite plan out. I hope the dems still have the mentality that legislation is top priority. IMO DACA has to die and we need legalization.

So basically this decision was made to sabotage current negotiations. Thanks Dems.

I always knew it. Let's hope it's not challenged by WH.

LOLOL...holy crap...on the cusp of getting a possible permanent solution to our status in the USA due to the urgency of the matter...a judge says hold your horses DACA isn't going anywhere...defeating the sense of urgency.

So basically the dead horse that is DACA is zombified which can possibly help screw up a resolution on a permanent fix...I mean holy crap dude..Mitch McConnell's big thing was that "A DACA fix isn't an emergency"...and now he has proof...WTF???

So basically do not be surprised if Democrats give in to the budget without a DACA fix, and then both Repubs and Dems "fight" back and forth saying that they now have time up to March, then June, then 2019, then 2020 and so forth, to try and find a permanent solution.

You...cannot...make...this...shit...up...WTF?!?!?
