I have tried everything and nothing has helped. I emailed the headquarters, I've called, e-request , Ombudsman, and my Congressman. I keep getting the same BS every time (PENDING BACKGROUND CHECK). It doesn't take 1 year to do a background check. I give up. I'm just going to wait from here on out. I will have 1 year waiting this September.

good news is 2 people that applied back in aug 16th just got rfed , after almost a year , so just keep your head up and hold on ,

Thanks. I hope you are right. I did notice those 2 people. I hope i get an approval though and not something else. Its hard to stay positive after being her for so long. I hope you get approved soon also.

My sister just got approved today, sent in January but received an rfe by the end of may, they received the rife last week and her card went into production today.

what did she get rfed for ?

They wanted evidence form 07-2012 lol she got lucky because she didn't have much to send with that rfe.
