Stilll waiting to be approved...... hope i get approved before expiration

RFE Request on March 31st
RFE reply sent April 5th and received April 10th
Approval for both applications on May 4th.


It was pretty straight forward renewal. My initial request was processed in California, renewal was processed and approved in the Nebraska Service Center.

What is an RFE? I have been waiting too long for my renewal

RFE: Request For Evidence. It's a request from USCIS sent to you stating they need more evidence from you to fully process your request. If you have not gotten a letter about that, you should be ok. but if you feel your case is taking to long, you could always message them to find out how your case is doing

Got approved today very happy God is good. Do you guys know how long it takes to actually get your ead? After being approved.

My time line is similar to yours! I sent my renewal in 11/17 biometrics around jam or fen, expired since 3/10/15, and still no approval! My case was sent to Texas center, called uscis and tried to put in a request and was unable to, was told to call back tomorrow hopefully I'll be able to, I was told their workers MF on 11/17 cases I'm about to loose my job this week if I don't show a renewed card , so frustrated, I have tuition to pay and will loose my work benefits

What's your timeline and what center was yours sent to? And it takes 3 to 7 days to get your new ead

Man we are on the same boat. I am paying my college tuition and expenses off my tax money but it won't last much longer. My job is still holding down my spot but its been 2 months jobless. I hope we get an approval fast this month. What ur exact timeline by the way?

Hopefully it comes soon I've been on a personal leave at work.
