I know how your feeling. Have you tried and asked to speak to a level 2 officer or tried asking to expedite your case.

Yes I have and bother expedite requests were denied. I reached out at the office of my congressman, I contacted the obdusman and still no answer ...I pray that I will get a response this month. It just seems like the Texas center is backlogged crazy

Hoping my job will do the same! I thought I was going to be able to work and they wouldn't notice it expired Lolll
Time Line is
App sent- 11/15/14
Received 11/17/15 Texas Center
I-797 Receipt 11/19/14
Biometrics completed on appointment date- 12/12/14
Old EAD expired 3/10/15
Contacted USCIS on 5/4/15 to request my case be expedited since its been way more than the given 3.5 months, I was denied and said a request couldn't be made at the time to call back the following day
Called uscis again 5/7/15 I was denied a request again and was told that they are currently working on 11/17 cases and just to wait a little longer
don't see why renewal is such a big deal, if we were approved once we should just be tea proved automatically and not have to go through this period of "unlawful status"
I applied over 6 months ago just frustrating

I talked to one of my friends and he told me he renewed back in march but he first applied in September... He told me he lasted two months without work. That the renewal process took him 5- 6 months... I just hope and pray that we get an answer this month! Let me know if u get approved or if you hear something new!

Blakmamba--- did you have s lawyer send in your application renewal? You're scaring me, my eda expires in less than two months and sent in my application late. I'm seeing people get approved in a month or just over. I hope we both get approved soon because I need my job now more than ever. I don't even know how to approach my supervisor with this. My HR has already asked for my new eda. This is such a tough situation.

It also seems like requesting your case to be expedited does not work. No one here who has requested to expedite their case has gotten it done. Any input on that subject?

My case is still not approved. My case status on the USCIS website still says "My Case Was Received". Does everyone who has not been approved yet have this status?
I filed early January 2015 to the Texas lockbox..... its been about 120 days (4 months) now and nothing yet. My case was received about 111 days before my card expired... I filed through a good lawyer and I am still waiting...Texas is really letting everyone down...I have not lost my job yet but I can any day now...so hopefully I will be approved this month.
Anyone else file around my time frame?
I'm from Chicago and I believe my case was sent to Texas.

Application Mailed: 1/05/2015
Application Received by USCIS: 01/09/2015
Biometrics done : 2/05/2015
EAD Expired: 4/29/2015
EAD Status: "My Case Was Received" .........forever waiting to be approved....
