Also, someone on the forum alluded to USCIS recovering applications. Maybe we never noticed and our apps went missing for a while from the ELIS site.

My ELIS account was locked due to unsuccessful login attempts. There doesn't seem to be a way to recover access other than that online support form to fill out and never expect a response back. What additional information can you guys see regarding your case status on there?

Yea, I can only see my supporting documents. I wonder if they lost the application? LOL that'd be great!

I hope not! But apparently the data block that was lost was between March and early May receipts. In any case, these missing applications from the ELIS site might explain why some people have not received their biometrics as well.

Ok, so today hits the 180 day mark from me. Which is their new recommended application time line. I hope I get an acceptance notice today because it has been really quiet for me since April 21st.

When you log in through https://my.uscis.gov/account/link, click "try it out now" under "new uscis account coming soon," and under form i765, do you guys see "due xx days ago in xx/xx/2016" in red highlight? Mine says that but i already took my bio.

I am in the 8/17 expiration batch and I can see most of the documents I sent in, but it seems that one or two things are missing. I'm just not quite sure how much longer this will take... My last day at work is tomorrow, and about 12 people know about my situation (President of the company, VPs, Directors, HR, and my team managers). They claim they'll hire me back as soon as I get the EAD, but in the meantime, I just feel so exposed... Thank you USCIS for putting me in such an awkward position at work, where my goal was to stand out due to my performance, not my immigration problems.

Call them and ask them to transfer you to a tech person to unlock your ELIS acc

note: it took them three tries to finally figure out how to transfer me to a tech guy and not a level 2 officer

Be prepared to wait several hours

My application was during April and it is not lost. I see it on my ELIS account and I haven't gotten a response back yet.

Timeline :

04/14/16 - app received
5/02/16 - biometrics
nothing after

I'm hoping you hear something today, that way you can avoid having to be let go and get hired back on. Today could be the day!
