August 10, 2016 Update:
If you submitted a request for DACA renewal between February 14 and May 14, 2016, your renewal request may have taken longer than expected. You should receive a decision on your case within the next few weeks. USCIS is dedicated to restoring normal processing times as quickly as possible
Here is the update from USCIS regarding the delays, most likely related to the block you are referring to.

My timeline is similar to yours. Case was received on 4/22 and bio was a few weeks later I don't have the exact date in front of me.

Just got the off the phone with tier2 rep, he was very useful. I was on hold for maybe 5-8 min because he was doing further research on my case. Finally he told me he submitted a request and the service center will mail me some information within 5 business day on how much longer they will take on my case. I hope to hear some approval instead of waiting time...Ps: they won't expedite your case if your background check isn't completed.

Call, be polite and tell the customer service your case has been pending for so long and other people who have submitted their case couple months after you are getting approved and ask to see how can they help you because you really needed. ie: loss of job, financial help etc.. It works for me almost all the time. Good luck and will keep you guys updated.

What a waste of resources. Would be better if they would just let us apply online and upload docs so they wouldn't have to scan.

Thanks for the info

I called earlier today and the lower tiered reps absolutely insisted that they could not do anything about my case even if they transferred me to a tier 2 rep. I'll try it tomorrow since I'm at work now

Well I am officially freaking out. My permit expires on 9/11/16 and I have not yet received my biometrics appointment. This is my 3rd renewal request and the fist 2 times went by with no problems. I have 26 days left to get everything.

Unfortunately I dropped the ball this time and NCS received my paperwork on 6/09/16. Last time I submitted my paperwork about 3 1/2 months before expiration without issue and got everything on time. The fact that I haven't received my biometrics is worrying me. I received my appointment very quickly last time.

Aghhhh

Edit:
I did contact USCIS on 7/21/16 and the rep flagged my case and told me I would receive my biometrics appt. in the next few weeks but it's been close to a month with no letter or word. I will call again today and try to speak with an officer or something. :/

About an hour ago the immigration officer called me and I spoke to them for about 30 minutes.. she could only find my i-821d but not my i-765 so she placed me on hold when she came back she stated my i-765 was still in the old system (eyeroll) anywho after explaining everything she said she was expediting my application and that I will have an answer by the 25th (praying its true)

She also asked me why I had waited so long to get to them and I told them I called multiple times but all I kept getting was a keep waiting response... she said to not accept that next time and keep asking for them until someone transfers you because this delay requires their attention!

Hope this helps someone!!!

Also, NILC emailed me back saying they flagged my case with DHS yesterday

I'm praying something comes out of all our work!
Thanks for the info. It sounds like I need to speak to an immigration officer too then (still waiting for bio notice). I too contact NILC and they have flagged my case as well. I also have my attorney trying to get a hold of USCIS and my Congressman. Crossing my fingers something works cause I'm running out of time (exp 9.22).
