Hey all!

After such a grueling process I am happy I was finally approved!
Exactly on my 120 day mark.
My application was processed at the TSC.
I contacted ombudsman, called the natl hotline and spoke to level 2 representatives multiple times A WEEK!!! Sent requests to Senator Durbin, who's staffer contacted TSC in my case a couple times.
Some things that I did that helped push my case through:
Congressman Rep!!!! Despite working for a republican congressman who doesn't support DACA, she was so awesome for dealing with my constant phone calls. I called/emailed her almost every day. She talked to TSC almost every day. TSC was not willing to budge on a decision until I finally e-mailed supporting documentations denoting financial hardship.....(tax forms, pay stubs, medical bills, tuition bills, rent notices, employment release letters, and finally a new job offer letter. I also wrote a letter of hardship explaining my extreme situation).
because of my very terribly financial hardship, they expedited my case and sent it to the Humanitarian Unit yesterday (I was told that this is EXTREMELY rare. This unit acts rather fast on requests)
Today I was approved!
I can finally go back to work and not be afraid that I will be homeless
Good luck to you all and DO NOT be afraid to stick up for yourselves and get the treatment you deserve. You may be "undocumented" but you are still a human being that has basic human needs.

Timeline:
App received 2/18
Biometrics 3/20 (tried doing walk-in, wouldn't let me)
Reached out to Congressman on 5/4
Approved 6/18
BTW TSC has at least a 1.5 month delay....

I renewed my license back in April and just got it today, it took them forever because a mistake the DMV did and stuff, and the license came with some red letters that states " legal presence-no lawful status- limited term" the first time I renewed my license under this differed action, my license didn't have those terms...have any body else get their license like that? I'm in NC btw, I'm not to happy about those been stated in my license, I'm kind of sick of how they look for ways to discriminate people.

Yep, im in NC too and mine has the same red words. It varies state by state, some states don't add any Legal Presence crap to it however there are some states that don't give out a license at all.. So i am happy at least with this, but it sucks.

What did they require you to have and do to renew your license? Just your new EAD? and did you only need to do the vision test again?

Mine expires August 28th, im still waiting on my renewal DACA case to be approved first.

Mine didn't have that the first time I went to renew it with the DACA thing, but oh well just wanted to make sure it wasn't a DMV mistake.

I took my old license and my renewed work permit nothing else, I think I took my SS just in case but I'm pretty sure they didn't ask me for it, and yes they only have me do the vision test for the road signals and that was it, but apparently they made a mistake the first time and didn't check the DACA option in their system cause after waiting like a month I think (they send me those papers with the provisional proof of license with no picture twice) they called me back to the DMV because they made a mistake and they couldn't process my license until they checked that on their system, so I don't know if you want to mention that to the agent you get since when I went back they apologize and told me they had no idea that was going to be an issue. Hope you get your DACA renew soon.

Hello everyone! I have been following the forum for a bit and there's a lot of great information on here. Any June renewals lately? I will update my timeline in a bit but here's a quick breakdown of where I'm at:

Renewal received on 03/25/15 (Nebraska Service Center-I live in NE so it makes sense it would be here)
Biometrics on 4/24/15
Received the message below on 06/18/15

"On June 18, 2015, we updated your name for your Form I765, APPLICATION FOR EMPLOYMENT AUTHORIZATION,"

So at the moment I'm currently still waiting to see if I receive any new info but no other action has been taken since the name update.

Mine had actually expired last Friday June 26th and I was really nervous that they would deactivate my access today at work but they still haven't said anything. Now I'm just waiting for my card and I will get all my info updated and go get my DL for the first time since Nebraska is finally letting us get them.
