I'm not sure. I was arrested by ICE on March 2011 for making an illegal right turn, freaking ticket cop called ICE-what a dick. Anyway, I was never given a court date bc the supervising officer never filed the paperwork with the court (lucky lucky) but I did have a notice to appear, the court date was just TBD. I'm guessing that's why it took so long, plus my name is pretty common.

All I have to say is WOW. It makes me so happy to see that so many people are getting approved. After my name got on that list, I actually started living my life and didn't come back to this site until just now. It's almost like a dream!

I've been waiting a year now...

I have no record or arrests or anything. On the contrary, I have hours or voluntarily community service, perfect high school and college grades, and so many other things going for me. And yet I've been sitting around for a year waiting for this whole thing to go through while the world keeps moving around me. So much for the American dream.

I don't get it, you received a RFE which means you cleared all the security checks right? I heard they don't look at your case until the checks clear so why is it taking so long for you?

That's not true, they run many security checks threw out the whole process. Doesn't matter if your under review or got RFE that doesn't mean your security checks are cleared. They can run checks anytime they please.

Makes more sense because my rfe was over my bc which i would think was the first thing they would look at.

Ooh ok but like I said I heard, it is still BS Though.

Considering how some people with and without criminal records have been approved in LESS than three months, it is BS.
