you get two I-797C 's. One for form I-821D and another for form I-765. (just like you got two emails with two case numbers)

The I-797C just confirms receipt and acceptance of the petition. NOTE: Acceptance is NOT approval. They are two different things.

The form tells you everything is received and the next step is biometrics and that you will get another letter in the mail with the appointment to go and get the biometrics done. I am still waiting for that one.

From the uscis.gov/childhoodarrivals "Filing Process" section

"After your Form I-821D, Form I-765, and Form I-765 Worksheet have been received, USCIS will review them for completeness, including submission of the required fee, initial evidence and supporting documents. If it is determined that the request is complete, USCIS will send you a receipt notice. USCIS will then send you an appointment notice to visit an Application Support Center (ASC) for biometric services. Please make sure you read and follow the directions in the notice. "

To me that means that at least they feel that most evidence was submitted accordingly. The head guy for USCIS for AZ and NV said that if it was received incomplete that they would return the whole packet back and not issue a notice. Disclaimer here, I am not a lawyer, but from what he says to some incomplete apps slipping thru the initial cracks would not be surprising.

Where do you live?*If it only took a day for you to receive I-797 in the mail, they must be sending the letters from your area.

I live in Arizona, and you are correct although the envelope says Nebraska Service Center the Metered stamp reveals an AZ zip code.
