How many more years before we get a fucking solution? Permanent DACA should just be approved.

-No renewing (filing application, paying fees, doing biometrics, etc.) ever again.
-No chance for citizenship while in this status.
-No travel.
-No deportation.
-Permanent EAD for work.
-No uncertainty.

Would any of you take this?

No. But I would agree to permanent green card and ability to travel freely.

No that would not be feasible. DACA by definition is deferred action, which means it has to be revisited, intended mostly for congress to step in and pass a bill. Unfortunately due to covid, things have halted but I also think there has been some Sort relief as they are using prior biometrics now for approving Apps.

What you say in the beginning makes no sense...basically right now you’re not getting a solution quickly as you want (with a possibility of one) so you just want a scenario where there is guaranteed no solution and you’ll be free of trying to anticipate for one.

Nope, this is America why should I have to settle. Go big or go home. If they gave us something like a yellow card, travel, and no citizenship. No renewing. I might just take it.

I dont even care about traveling anymore. Oh well, we are truly just wishful thinking. We all know very well the fate that awaits us next month. Its emotionally draining.

If we could travel, I would careless about GC or Citizenship.

Sure, it would be "second class citizens" but it would allow for more certainty and most of us will be able to eventually AOS through marriage, family or kids.

Beggars can't be choosers.

We all have different situations. For me, my grandparents are getting very old and having the freedom to visit them outside of the country is a must. I don't want to ever again experience the pain of having a loved one die and not being able to go see them one last time.

If the outcome is that people will get daca but not travel then I'm going to move to another western country... but I will be very happy for those of you here that will get the benefit of staying in this country.
