That's the thing, I never applied out of fear. I was eligible since it was announced. This is my first time applying for DACA lol. Definitely not getting it on time.

Wow, ooh ok, interesting decision... I'm sure if that's a good or bad move.

GOOD: You're in the pool if any legislation is pass to help us.

BAD: You avoided applying all these years then its rescinded and nothing happen legislatively.

Exactly. I mean hopefully you understand that when the program came out in 2012 I was 15 and well I was fearful of everything having to do with my legal status. At first I didn't apply out of fear, but after a while I kept putting it to the side because of the fear of getting rejected or it being taken away after having DACA for years (the fear that now 800,000 recipients have).

Odd that I was fearful during the Obama era and now that Trump is president (where fear would be more understandable) I decided to apply now.

It's sad really. I decided to apply in June and I was finally excited, and then a couple of days later the lawsuit was announced and I just felt so disappointed and depressed.

I know it has been repeatedly debate on here what will happen, the honest truth is no one knows. But if DACA is rescinded, at the very least I think the BRIDGE Act will pass. I don't believe Washington is that broken to allow almost 1 million people to go back in the shadow. Let's all just take it a day at a time.

3rd time renewal

Current Daca expires - 10/18/2017

Emailed packet - completed by me - for DACA and work permit renal (3rd time renewing) on July 17.
Packet received July 19
received Biometrics notice on July 26
Biometrics scheduled 08/11
work permit approved on 08/18 (checked case status on uscis)
DACA did not show approved until today 08/22

I did log into my USCIS account today. It said that my Green Card (NON DACA) card was produced and in the mail. Of course, that is an error.

Good luck my friends. DO not give up.

sorry for typos

My renewal timeline was UNDER A MONTH. I feel extremely lucky.
  • My EAD was to expire this December.
  • Filed within the 150-120 days.
  • I filled and priority mailed my application with cover letter, usual copies, and signed documents.
  • My receipt number started with IOE instead of the usual MSC.
  • I live in the east coast and my application was processed through Nebraska

PM me if you have any questions.

Holy Moly..

Card is being produced. I can't believe it.

Current EAD expires 11/25. (This is my 2nd renewal). I sent in August 10th. I got the confirmation email August 15th. I did a walk-in for biometrics on Monday. And just logged in to the great news.

It took them 13 days.. Holy shit.

Damn. My brother's renewal is still in process. He had his biometrics the 21st of August. What do you guys think? Is he going to let the people in process of renewals renew?

Some people have been waiting since March, others get approved after applying in August, so it's impossible to tell at this point.
