Hi all,

Question ... I had my biometrics done on August 17th 2017 (my EAD expires September 23rd 2017) and when I check the status of my case on the USCIS website it reads

Biometrics Appointment Was Scheduled
On July 29, 2017, we scheduled you for a biometrics appointment and mailed you an appointment notice for Receipt Number XXXXXX. Please follow the instructions in the notice. If you do not receive your appointment notice by August 28, 2017, please go to www.uscis.gov/e-request to request a copy of the notice. If you move, go to www.uscis.gov/addresschange to give us your new mailing address.

Should I be worried that something was misplaced or not delivered?
Or is this common if they have not gotten to my case yet?

Not sure why it is saying that if I already got my biometrics done.

No, nothing to worry about. That's generic and normal. My friend did his bio since 7/21 and on the website it still has the same that you quoted.
Did you receive a 3rd letter to set up an account, with a password? sometimes they send it and sometimes they don't.
Good Luck

Just got approved. I should get my degree before my EAD expires unless something happens, good or bad.

Hi Guys!
Can anyone tell me how long it took from when your EAD was mailed or produced to arrive? I'm still waiting! My future employer has revised my start date several times. I need this card physically here by the end of the week.

Application received- 4-17-17
Biometrics 5-10-17
DACA approved 8-30-17
DACA recieved in mail 9-2-17
EAD produced 8-29-17
EAD "mailed" 9-1-17

I'm still waiting for my EAD to arrive?? Any thoughts?

Hi all,

My EAD is about to expire this Saturday (9/23/17) and it has not been anywhere close to the 180 days it may take for them to review your case before you're supposed to submit an inquiry.

My two questions are

1: Would it be any benefit to email the director and acting chief/project liaison team of USCIS to see if they can look into it since I'm going to expire in 5 days? I noticed others have done this in the past, how much information should you include in the email? Full name of course but should you include your A# etc? Ideally, the email should be short and concise and include all info, just not sure how much should be included.

2: I did receive a letter stating that if my application isn't approved before the expiration of my EAD, that it will be automatically extended for an additional 180 days. Since my DL is also expiring in 5 days, does anyone know if I can use the extension letter at the DMV and be able to re-apply for a new DL that has the expiration set to 180 days from now?

Thank you.

So I got a tracking number. It was delivered on Sept 5th. I didn't get it because, believe me, I have been checking the mail every day.
The mail carrier lost my card!!
What do I do now??
I called USCIS and they said I have to send a new i765 application.
Any thoughts?? FML!!
