I applied on May 25th 2017. After filing an inquiry, an immigration officer emailed me and said initial applications can take up to 11 months. After 11 months it will be considered late. Also, that they can't speed up the process because the applications are reviewed in the order they are sent. Trust me I have done everything to speed up the process and nothing seems to work. But it doesn't hurt to try.

My application is still pending and it's been 8 months. It's at the California Service Center

Hope this information helps in any way.

How exactly would you recommend us to contact. Phone? Walk in? I've never really contacted a politician so excuse my ignorance.
Yes, I filled out the contact form. I guess I got lucky because they called me within a couple of days.
Make sure they are democrat or DACA-friendly and you may want to try to call or walk-in if you do not hear back.

I'm sorry
Did you e-mail : [email protected]
They sent me an email response right away saying that my message was forwarded to a staff attorney.
Make sure either your DACA expired, is expiring very soon and that you have been waiting at least 105 days though.
I put this in the subject line:
DACA renewal delay for "enter your name"

and I wrote this email:
My applications for DACA renewal and I-765 were received on July 17th, 2017 (over 120 days). I have expired on December 1st, 2017 and lost my job.
Can you please find out if there is a problem with my case and/or put in a request to expedite a decision on my case?
Please respond at your earliest convenience.

and at the bottom I put my full name, receipt numbers, A#, phone number and email.

Hope this helps someone.

Hi!! Wow that's a really long time OMG! My brother has been waiting since August. If you don't mind the question. Do you have any past crminal records? My brother had a reckless back in 2009. His initial application and renewals have always been quick. But this time around it is taking forever. I can't think of anything delaying it other than that. And maybe ice wanting him to mess up and drive w expired license or anything that could disqualify him. Yes I'm paranoid. He's out of work and not driving. Back to the shadows

That's funny. They told me after 6 months or 180 days it's considered late and I was told I could contact them again for an update.

1 year to wait seems super ridiculous to me and unfair.

Every time I call I do write down their agent numbers and make it a point to recite them back so they know I'm keeping track of the conversation.

Does your receipt number start with CSC or IOE?
