August. And October he got an RFE. The only thing he did was put in a service request to USCIS. I think that helped him. Because two weeks after it he got approved.

I filed my application on 07/2017
Priority date 07/31/2017
Bio-metrics done: 08/16/2017 (Bronx, NY)
Last update on my application was 08/22/2017 stating my i-765 is being actively review by USCIS.
My application was filed online and states it is being processed at the IOE location, however i am receiving notifications from California service Center which takes foreverrrr.

My gf Initial Application was received January 25, 2017

Biometrics was done in Mid March 2017 sorry don't remember the exact date

Called on December 15 2017 thru my attorney

Response was they are still within allowed timeframe

Waited some more

This last Saturday February 3 2018 got initial approval!!!!

Application for employmentis in process

over 12 months for initial approval now I wonder how long work permit will take?

I have submitted inquiries and all we can do is wait. But some May initial applications have gotten approved last month. It’s crazy

Even bigger news now. This morning they approved the work permit!!!

So DACA approved Saturday February 3 and work permit approved today February 7th

So strange after over 12 months both approved within a week.

Will try to find out which service center.
