If you file this application with USCIS, you do not need to include a biometric services fee
at the time you submit your application. If you are later notified that you must submit biometrics, you will receive a
biometric services appointment notice with instructions on how to submit the additional biometric services fee. If you
file this application with an agency other than USCIS, please check with that agency to determine if and when you must
submit a biometric services fee.

but then it also says:

Special Instructions for Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals--(c)(33). All requestors under this category must pay
the biometric services fee of $85. The biometric services fee and the filing fee for this application cannot be waived.

Have you all been sending in the $495 money order just like in the past? I just want to make sure. Thank you!

It says right there

$85 for biometric Fee and $410 for filing fee

$495 in total

Yes, the biometrics fee is required.

I just sent my renewal. They received it on Oct. 17th. I still haven't gotten a text message and I am a bit worried. Yesterday it has been a week.

When I tried to log into my account on https://myaccount.uscis.gov/ it makes me create an e-verify account to check on the status of my case. Did you have to do that as well?

Just wanted to share some good news today. My EAD was renewed today for another two years. It look about 45 days from when I sent my renewal application. See timeline in signature.

I had an uneasy feeling all day reading articles on the DACA hearing and following the summaries on SCOTUS Blog. It's coincidental that today is the day that I was approved again.

Not sure what the future brings - but feel thankful for all the young men and women who are in DC today advocating for us.

In for another renewal. Sent my packet in 11/5/19 , received text that it was received 11/13/19 and then a few days later on 11/17/19 i got notified that my biometrics have been scheduled. Pretty quick!

My DACA and EAD was approved in a span of 3 days after biometrics.

DACA and EAD mailed 10/23/2019
DACA and EAD received by USCIS 10/28/2019
Biometrics done 11/20/2019
EAD approved 11/21/2019
DACA approved 11/23/2019

BTW, my DACA expired 10/17/2019

I applied on Jan. and was approved on March.
I applied early (my original due date was on August)

I also want to add. I will be sending back my EAD because my last name was misspelled.
I told them about this when I went to get my biomectrics done. They corrected it there but for some reason they didn't correct it at USCIS.
