I also want to add. I will be sending back my EAD because my last name was misspelled.
I told them about this when I went to get my biomectrics done. They corrected it there but for some reason they didn't correct it at USCIS.

If anyone has the same problem and needs information please contact me.

That gives me some hope for me.
I applied in Late Dec, had my biometrics in early Jan. Still waiting.
I expire in Mid September. I've only just now hit the 6 month mark a few days ago.

Hey everyone.

I just renewed my DACA and work-permit this month.

Expiration date: 05/20/2020
Renewal package sent: 04/04/2020
Renewal package received at Chicago Lockbox: 04/10/2020
Approved EAD : 04/20/2020
Approved DACA : 04/21/2020

No biometrics appointment needed. They just reused my old ones
All in all, from start to finish, was about three weeks.

Input, anyone?
My card expires 10/21/2020, I want to go ahead and send it 150 days before its due, so would sent out on 05/21/2020. But must of you have been receiving yours SO QUICK... I'm afraid that if I send it too soon, I will loose months like last time (exp 03/2019, sent out 08/2018, new exp 10/2020, which should have been 03/2021).

WOW!! You sent your stuff about a month before it expired!? I'm debating whether to send now (May) when it expires in October. I really can't afford to be with out my EAD, and I'd rather it come extra early (like last time, when I lost five months) than for it to take too long (time before last, it expired and I had to wait 2 more months with out it).

I expire 10/08 and sent in my renewal yesterday. Waiting until 5/21 is risky in my opinion.

Thank you! I needed some reassurance. I'd rather loose months than be without it.

Hey guys...no lie, this is what happened to me today. So around 630 EST I got the text saying USCIS have received my paperwork and as usual they gave me my receipt numbers. Both receipt numbers were IOE. Mind you I didn't e-file either. So I say to myself, "my wait begins". Now around 940 pm, for the hell of it, I decided to check the uscis check case status site and what I saw blew my freaking mind. It said that my case was approved. I could not really react, was shocked, happy but shocked. Why? Because I sent off my application on Thursday to arrive Friday at noon. Since I have done the daca process I had to wait 2 or 3 months before I heard back that I was approved and I thought the same thing was going to happen again. Especially with the pandemic around I thought I was going to wait way longer than that. Man this is awesome. I feel so relieved.

Have anyone else been approved this fast?

Loose a few months or the ability to renew at all when SCOTUS rules and your app. is not submitted. I was due to expire in September, I sent my renewal in January and got approved in April. Yeah I lost 5 months, but that doesn’t compare to loosing the ability to work at all.
