I'm not sure what is the system in Nebraska. I know of people who applied after me, with their cases being processed in Nebraska and they are already approved and received new EAD. I am confused.

So a little update.

I decided to check my status this morning online, and I noticed that my EAD card was approved to be produced yesterday. My DA is still "actively reviewing" status, but from my past experience, once EAD is approved to be produced, then DA will be approved as well. So to give you my timeline...

May 18th - sent in my renewal application
May 19th - they received it
May 29th - received notifications through text that my application was received (they started reviewing on May 28th according to the online case status)

I received mail notifications, including a 3rd letter that says they will reuse my biometrics from previous application.

June 11 - EAD card being produced.

My expiration date is Oct 25, 2021.

So there you have it, for those curious. I will be losing 4 months of EAD, but i rather get it earlier and have the peace of mind.

I live in NY, I had sent it to Chicago, but it was processed in Nebraska.

yeah sorry to hear about your situation. hope it gets approved very soon. you should call USCIS to see if that can possibly expedite your case.

Any Nebraska timelines lately?

I've been reading a lot of delays on this and I'm a bit worried.

Sent my application on March 24th
USCIS post they received it on March 28th
And that's it.
My Daca is expiring on July 23rd, exactly a month from today. I just don't understand how other got approved so quickly and my application is on hold and yes it went to Nebraska processing center

My renewal was processed in Nebraska, even though I live in NY and sent it to Chicago. It is odd that a lot of renewal apps in Nebraska is experiencing delays. It only took me 3 weeks luckily. I don't know what made my renewal app any different to be honest. The only thing I can possibly think of is that I came as a B2 visitor, had tons of proof in my original application back in 2o12 (elementary school-junior high school-high school report cards and diplomas, unsuccessful green card application, had work authorization when I was like 11-15 years old, etc.). Not sure if that would make any difference though for a renewal.

You should have received letters, including one that says they will be reusing your previous biometrics, in the mail. If you didn't, you need to be proactive here and see what's going on by calling USCIS.
