I left to Mexico via airplane on January 20th and returned on the 23rd. I went to the visitor's line at customs in Houston, TX when I arrived to the US and provided my MX Passport/AP document. After they took my fingerprints and photo, the officer told me to wait for another agent that was going to take me to get processed. The other agent arrived pretty quickly and took me to a room with a lot of other people waiting. After 5 min, the same officer came and got me and took me to another room. This room was empty and I was the only one there, with the exception of the officers processing documents. My paperwork was given to one of the officers and he started to process my docs. After 10 min, he called me up and told me I was ready to go. I walked out and took my connecting flight to Phoenix.
Thanks, what was the reason for AP?... What documents did u provide.

I'll need to apply for Advanced Parole soon due to work reasons (Canada). I'd appreciate if anyone who has done and traveled so successfully could share their experience regarding the application process and timeline. How did you reach out to your boss about advocating on your behalf, etc?

Thank you!

I have DACA and just personally applied for advance parole a few days ago and just had a few questions.

My reason for traveling is that I was accepted into a human rights study abroad/internship program in the former Yugoslavia. So I'm wondering if anyone has traveled with AP to Europe and especially Eastern Europe and how the personnel at the airports reacted to the advance parole document.
Also if I am granted advance parole I will most likely be returning through Houston so I'm curious if anyone has come back into the US through this airport how were the CBP officials and what questions they may have asked.

Lastly I have seen how this forum is full of success stories when it comes to traveling with DACA and AP which is really amazing! But I'm just wondering if there have been any documented cases of any DACA recipients being denied re-entry?

Thanks
Hey i am also thinking of doing internship in Mexico. please share your experience once you are approved. Thanks and Good Luck

There have been alot of great stories with ewi advance parole. Does anyone know about anything dealing with a fraudulent entry as a 3 year old. No record of it as taken, (no I-94/fingerprints). Will I be charged with grounds of inadmissability? Because there was no record, is this a fraud/misrepresentation entry or an ewi?

So... my gf returned to the USA from Argentina using AP on April 28...(she departed from LAX on April 4)
In Argentina it took about 15min* to check her AP document and get her boarding pass...
Then in Lima-Peru(the flight had 1 stop) they checked her AP document again and took about 10min
When arriving to Los Angeles she got on the visitors lane and showed the AP document to the officer and he prooceded to take her fingerprints and picture and asked her the reason of her travel and if she was going to adjust status with the AP...(my gf answered her mom was having an eye surgery and that she was not adjusting status yet)
then she was asked to follow another officer for second inspection
At the waiting room they asked her for her passport and AP document and told her to turn her phone off, sit down and wait until called....

AFTER "3HOURS and 27MINUTES they finally called her name... (a lot of other people were in the waiting room for different reasons)...

When she went to the window they handed her passport and stamped AP document with a paper with the information to get the I-94 online.. and told her she was good to go....
I was so worried waiting for her in the airport because i didnt expected to wait for more than 3hours... But she is here again and happy for being with her family after 7 long years
