I am starting to get paranoid about the whole renew process. I was wondering what comes up when you guys type the receipt number? The only thing that comes up for mine is " On May 13, 2016, we scheduled you for a biometrics appointment and mailed you an appointment notice for Receipt Number xxx" . It does not say that I completed the bios on 6/1. Are you folks getting the same message?

Make an account with the paper that came along with your bio appt notice. That ELIS account is where mostly everyone is finding out about their approvals.

Welp, my last day of work (for now) was pretty bittersweet. In my position I work with a lot of different people, so I had to let all of them know I'd be out for a while. I appreciated their heartfelt responses about how much they would miss me, and that I need to come back soon. Sigh...

I do have one, it only states, " Your benefit request has been accepted and is under review". I am just paranoid about the other message.

How does the call back work for the "outside normal processing time inquiry"? I was able to submit one for the Work Permit, but not sure if their answer is going to be that is dependent on DACA, and it's still within processing time.

This has been a very stressful process over all -- I am definitely glad that if the next President doesn't overturn DACA, then we can apply 180 days beforehand, for a little peace of mind.

That is normal check at the top of your myaccount by clicking "try it out now" then check your case it should say biometrics completed with a check. The my case status site displays the same message for me.

I am so sorry you are having to go through this. I'm 23 days away from my EAD expiring, but my manager and his manager are aware of the situation, and it just makes me feel so awkward and sad.

Just when we thought we had a little bit of security, and you start forgetting about our limbo situation, this happens and reality strikes...We are not in a safe position with DACA. Hopefully we can all find a more permanent solution for our situation.

I hope you get a speedy approval, and I am glad your company will be hiring you back. How many people can say that the company they work for would do that for them?

I am on the same position unfortunately . I can only hope that we get approved quickly.

I wonder at what times accounts are updated when approved. Has anyone woken up and checked only for it to say still in process then checked again a few hours later to find themselves approved?

I tend to check throughout the day, but I'm wondering if I'm being paranoid AND wasting my time by checking multiple times.
