Is there anyone who waited long for their bios and then finally received it?

" USCIS has announced that some requests for renewal of Deferred Action for Childhood Considerations (DACA) filed between February 14, 2016 and May 16, 2016 were delayed because of technical difficulties and may be outside of processing time. These delays may lead to both timely (filed 120 days or more before expiration) and untimely filed requests (filed 120 days or less before expiration) to not be adjudicated before the expiration of the previous grant of deferred action and employment authorization."

Can someone tell me what this means?


That application between Feb 14 - May 16 might not get a decision before expiration?

Yes, your EAD might expire. In fact, we have people here whose EAD have already expired and they submitted their renewals during that period (Feb-May).

Yeah I realize that since we had a few people here that have July expiration and a bunch of people with August 17th. I was confused at how the sentence was worded more than the content itself.

I haven't gotten approved yet, Watson did in record time and yes, with an IOE receipt number. But I have a similar timeline which gives me some hope — though seeing how there's no rhyme or reason to how USCIS approves people, I might still be in it for the long haul....

They're just shafting everyone who sent it in February 14, 2016 and May 16, 2016.

The tech delay fucked them up so instead of trying to remedy it by pushing through all the apps that went first. They want to pad their stats for "average processing time" so they push through all the recent apps that just came in so it keeps the stats extra low to cancel out the ones that are now 120+ days. Simple as that

No I haven't received my biometrics appointment, contact them how? E-request? cause I tried calling already and they basically said that my application is not over due yet therefore I should just wait and allow them to work on it.
