Thank you! My I-765 is still on name updated. I thought they would approve it by now so I don't know how long it will take. I probably won't receive it on time.

Nothing so far...... uscis likes to take their sweet as time.

well thanks for the positiveness,

i actually called this morning and the rep said that my case should not be taking that long, she said she contacted nebraska and that they will respond withing 5 days, to call back by this friday if nothing happens,

So out of all the calls i've done, this one sounds promising,

even though i know i will fall out of status starting this thursday, i guess all it matters is that i get approved as soon as possible....

Yup it sucks, I haven't told anyone at work. So ugh Monday is going to be weird for them.

Are they letting you guys come back to work once you receive the work permit? I have 2 HR managers and I explained my case to the nicest one so she told me she's not going to tell anyone so to not worry about it but I don't know how long it's going to take to get approved for my work permit. I hope my other HR manager doesn't find out if not I can lose my job.

I've been told I'll be able to keep my job. I just hope it doesn't take more than a week after Friday...if it gets to that point.

I didn't hear from NILC, tomorrow is day 5. I expect something from them.
