You may certainly ask lol, but I don't have an answer to why it took as long as it did. Just glad things went through.

Update-
The immigration officer expedited my case on 3/11/2015 and today I check on my case and it says that my Card was ordered for production

Which case did he send the expidite on the deferred action or work authorization ? I only ask cause about a week ago the sent a request to expidite my work permit and I got a email saying the are working on people who are expiring as fast as they can. Today I called and they sent a request to expidite my deferred action so fingers crossed

When you expedite your case did you had any info besides the email??? because on the 11th I got my DACA case # expedite and i have 3 updates on that case in the USCIS site when i log in ....

Yea when I logged in there was like 3 updates the last said we emailed you a response that was for the ead today I sent an expidite on the deferred action. The officer said it didn't make sense to request inquiry on the ead because with DACA you have to first be approved for deferred action and then the work permit is approved

YES!!!! but i have 3 updates on case history
first one on 3/12
it was assigned to an officer
second one says: on 3/13 we've sent a responde on your request
and 3rd request was completed... but no email or nothing just that on the USCIS website

Yeah... true! it would of have made more sense if they would of done that request on you DACA case. I have 3 updates on my case but no emails as of now... maybe tomorrow or next week. I think i did my request way to late my EAD already expired on the 11th! i wish you better luck on your daca!
